The two Thursday evening presentations will begin at 7:00 PM at:

Field Trips:

For both field trips please bring all that you may need for a full day outing.

Suggested list includes: Lunch, liquids, snacks, layered clothing, hat, sunscreen, sunglasses, rain
parka, binoculars and scope if you have one.

Drivers, please show up at the meeting places with a full charge of fuel as filling stations in our
focus areas are few

Steady rain may postpone these dates:

Sun.  Jan. 10    9:00 AM - 4:00 PM            Point Reyes National Seashore

We'll meet at the Bear Valley Visitor's Center at 9:00 AM. Our tour will be partially determined by the weather.
Hoping for good viewing conditions!

Sun.   Jan. 17   9:00 AM - 4:00 PM               Sacramento Delta Loop

We'll meet in Suisun City at 9:00 AM in the McDonald's parking lot near the intersection of
Hwy. 12 and Sunset Ave./Grizzly Island Dr.

From Berkeley: I-80 east towards Sacramento, before Fairfield, take the Highway 12 exit
towards Rio Vista/Suisun City/Lodi. Travel about 5 miles to to Suisun City and you will see
the McDonald's on your left at the intersection of Sunset Ave.

From there we can consolidate cars for our auto tour of southern Solano county: Grizzly Island, Jepsen Prairie and
some gravel back roads. PLEASE PLAN TO CARPOOL

- Save fuel & minimize congestion
- Meet new friends & fellow birders
- Save money at tolls and park kiosks
