Reservations, Cancellation & Refund Policy
RESERVATIONS
Half & Full Day Nature Trip Reservations- To hold a reservation for both Half or Full Day Nature Trip,
payment of a 50% deposit of the full trip fee per person is required in advance of an available trip date.
The balance of payment can be made any time before or at the beginning of the trip you have chosen. If
you are trying to make on-line reservations for a trip that commences within 48 hours, we would appreciate
the favor of a call from you so that we can confirm availability at the date you are interested in.
Multi-Day Nature Trip Reservations- To hold a reservation for a Multi-Day Nature Trip, payment of a 50%
deposit of the full trip fee per person is required in advance at least 45 calendar days prior to the start
date of the trip requested. Nature Trip must receive the balance of the trip fee at least 15 calendar days
prior to the start date of that trip in order to maintain the reservation.
CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY
When unforeseen circumstances force a trip participant to cancel their plans, we understand just how
disappointing that can be. After all the careful plans have been made, we’re also looking forward to the
start of the trip when we get to actually meet the trip participants and the fun begins. Unfortunately for us,
there are real costs associated with the plans we make on behalf of the trip participants and this is why we
require deposits for the trips themselves. On all trips we may have had to turn others away due to the trip
being full. On Multi-Day Trips non-refundable hotel and transportation deposits are due well in advance to
our suppliers. We hope that you feel our Cancellation & Refund Policy is fair. If you are unsure of your
ability to make the trip, we encourage you to consider purchasing Trip Cancellation Insurance for your
protection.
Half and Full Day Trips – If you cancel your reservation for a Half or Full Day Nature Trip no later than 48
hours prior to the commencement of the trip, you will be refunded your deposit minus a $50.00 (USD)
service charge. If you cancel your reservation for a Half or Full Day Nature Trip within 48 hours of the
commencement of the trip your deposit will not be refunded.
Multi- Day Trips – If you cancel your reservation for a Multi-Day Nature Trip no later than 45 days prior to
the commencement of the trip, you will be refunded your deposit minus a $25.00 (USD) service charge. If
you cancel your reservation for a Multi-Day Nature Trip within 30 days of the commencement of the trip,
your deposit will not be refunded but any subsequent payments you have made towards the trip fee will be
refunded. If you cancel your reservation for a Multi-Day Nature Trip less than 10 days prior to the
commencement of the trip, only monies not previously allocated for your portion of the trip expenses will be
refunded. If you are unsure of your ability to make the trip, we encourage you to consider purchasing Trip
Cancellation Insurance for your protection.
